MER Biofeedback® Therapy was developed through many years of hands-on experience and client feedback and was officially registered as a trademark in June 2023.

2003–2011 (Syracuse, New York, USA): Independent Study and Professional Certification

Ulle purchased her first biofeedback device in 2003 and completed an initial three-day training course, after which she became a Certified Biofeedback Technician.

With the support of the device’s creator, Chris Keser, she continued to explore the technology independently and in depth, focusing particularly on identifying and rebalancing negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs.

In the same year, Ulle began working with clients in the United States. Between 2003 and 2011, she carried out more than 6,000 biofeedback therapy sessions, gaining extensive practical experience. She approached every session as an opportunity to learn, observe and deepen her understanding of each client’s individual needs.

Alongside her practical work, Ulle continued her studies in quantum physics, positive psychology, neuroscience and cognitive therapy. This broader knowledge helped her identify clients’ stress indicators with greater accuracy and efficiency.

From 2003 to 2011, Ulle conducted over 6,000 therapy sessions

She later began studying Quantum Biofeedback at the Canadian International College of Holistic Studies.

In 2011, Ulle completed her studies and was registered as a biofeedback therapist with the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners, receiving the professional qualification R.B.T. 9-1004.

2011–2020: Professional Experience and the Establishment of Lifekeskus in Estonia

After completing her studies, Ulle worked at two holistic therapy centres in the United States, where she supported clients experiencing burnout, anxiety and depression.

She also worked with children, using biofeedback therapy to support their emotional balance and overall wellbeing.

Her approach was also used to identify and rebalance performance-related stress in athletes, helping them achieve a more stable state of flow and perform closer to their full potential.

In 2011, Ulle introduced MER Biofeedback® Therapy to Estonia at the Holistic Institute and began travelling regularly to Estonia to work with clients.

She returned to Estonia permanently in 2018 and founded Lifekeskus in 2020 with the aim of making this distinctive form of therapy more widely available.

Today, Ülle has carried out more than 17,000 therapy sessions and continues to dedicate her work to the practice, refinement and development of MER Biofeedback® Therapy.

By 2024, our MER Biofeedback® therapists at Lifekeskus were conducting approximately 400 therapy sessions per month. The demand for MER Biofeedback® therapy has been growing steadily each year.

Why choose MER Biofeedback® Therapy?

Developed through many years of practical experience and close work with clients, MER Biofeedback® Therapy is designed to support emotional balance and mental wellbeing.

During your therapy session, you are free to decide whether, and how much, you wish to talk about your past experiences.

If you would like to talk:
You are warmly welcome to share your story, concerns and feelings. Your therapist is there to listen, offer support and help you explore your experiences from new perspectives.

If you prefer not to talk:
You do not need to revisit, describe or relive difficult or traumatic experiences. Using the biofeedback device, your therapist can work with emotional stress indicators without requiring you to discuss anything you are not ready to share.

The therapist plays a key role:
The device does not identify and rebalance stressors on its own. The therapist’s expertise lies in recognising the emotional stress indicators that are most relevant to each individual client and tailoring the session accordingly.
