Since 2003, Ulle Toomeoja has been dedicated to practising biofeedback therapy and developing MER Biofeedback® therapy using the biofeedback device

She has conducted over 17,000 sessions of this therapy. Today, it has evolved into MER Biofeedback® therapy, which was trademarked in June 2023.

Ulle Toomeoja began the journey of creating MER Biofeedback® therapy in 2003, when he acquired her first biofeedback device (hereinafter referred to as the „Device“), while residing in Syracuse, New York, United States of America. This marked the beginning of her dedicated and exciting journey as a biofeedback therapist.

With the purchase of her first Device, Ulle Toomeoja received the certificate „Certified Biofeedback Technician“, although she had no practical experience at that time. She began to explore the Device’s capabilities independently and under the guidance of its creator, Chris Keser, focusing primarily on negative thought forms and emotions. Over the course of a few years, Chris Keser shared with her experience and knowledge of how balancing stress indicators has yielded faster and more effective results for his clients.

In 2006, Ulle started studying Quantum Biofeedback at the Canadian International College of Holistic Studies. During her studies, she gained a deeper understanding of quantum physics and biofeedback therapy. Ulle continued to independently explore the capabilities of the Device, specifically concentrating on negative thought forms and emotions that were not addressed in her college curriculum.

Her goal was to provide the client with quick and effective results. During the sessions, it became clear that in order to achieve the best results, it is important for her as a therapist to identify stress indicators that are individually important to the client from the Device. This was a time-consuming process because each client’s stress indicators were unique. She had to test each stress indicator one by one, as the device does not provide them automatically. For Ulle, the client was like a “crossword” that began to unfold little by little, that is, by testing stress indicators, she understood which stressors still need to be tested.

In addition, she enhanced her knowledge by reading books and attending lectures on negative thought and behavior patterns, limiting beliefs, and their interrelationships, which helped her identify stress indicators in clients more quickly.

From 2003 to 2011, Ulle conducted over 6,000 therapy sessions

For her diploma, Ulle conducted a case study involving 25 clients. In 2011, she received her Quantum Biofeedback diploma  and was registered with The Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners as a Biofeedback Therapist, holding the professional qualification R.B.T. 9-1004.

Thanks to her clients’ feedback, she was able to select from the Device those stress indicators that provided faster and more effective results.

To gain a deeper understanding of clients’ needs, Ulle studied positive psychology, which focuses on people’s strengths, resources, happiness, and their driving forces. This knowledge helped support clients in finding new positive aspects of life during the therapy sessions.

After graduating from college in 2011, Ulle began working at two holistic therapy centres in America. She specialises in areas such as anxiety and panic attacks, depression, burnout and post-traumatic stress disorder. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the therapy, she had to conduct therapy sessions for twenty different clients at these centres. After a month, clients provided feedback on the therapy results. The results were significant, and Ulle started her employment at these centres.

In November 2012, she visited Estonia and introduced biofeedback therapy at the Holistic Institute. Subsequently, she began visiting Estonia quarterly to conduct therapies. In 2018, she decided to settle permanently in Estonia with the aim of establishing her own therapy centre in the future, ensuring that this type of therapy would be accessible to all who seek it. In 2020, she founded a company, Lifekeskus OÜ, in Estonia.

MER Biofeedback® therapy is a holistic approach that integrates biofeedback therapy, quantum physics, neuroscience, and positive psychology with the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy.

MER Biofeedback® therapy training at MES Life Mastery LTD

MES Life Mastery LTD’s headquarters is Lifekeskus.

In autumn 2024, we established MES Life Mastery in the United Kingdom to expand our services. MES Life Mastery is committed to training the next generation of MER Biofeedback® therapists in the UK.

During a therapy session, the therapist plays a crucial role in identifying stressors affecting a particular individual using a biofeedback Device. The Device cannot independently identify or modify the client’s stress indicators without the therapist’s assistance.

Additionally, MER Biofeedback® therapists learn about holistic and positive psychology during the MER Biofeedback® training course. This knowledge helps our therapists provide each client with personalised, positive recommendations to improve their quality of life.

Only trained and certified MER Biofeedback® therapists work at the Life Mastery LDT.

Service providers offering biofeedback therapy outside MES Life Mastery (UK) and Lifekeskus (Estonia) do not have MER Biofeedback® therapy training and certification.

MER Biofeedback® therapists are trained to identify each client’s personal negative thought and behaviour patterns, limiting beliefs using the biofeedback Device. Approximately 700 stress indicators have been selected from the 7,000 available in the Device, the balancing of which has provided clients with faster and more effective results.

Additionally, MER Biofeedback® therapists learn about holistic and positive psychology during the MER Biofeedback® training course. This knowledge helps our therapists provide each client with personalised, positive recommendations to improve their quality of life.
